Why I Had a Doughnut Yesterday (And Why That’s Totally Fine)

Many of the people I work with have spent years being told certain foods are “bad” and that treating yourself means you’ve “fallen off track.” But this mindset often leads to frustration, guilt, and an all-or-nothing approach that never sticks.

Yesterday, I had doughnuts. Not because it was a “cheat day” or because I earned it—simply because I fancied one, and it fit into my day and my goals.

This is what I teach:

✅ Enjoy the things you love—without guilt or shame

Life’s busy. Between work, family, and everything else, food shouldn’t be another source of stress. The key to long-term results isn’t restriction—it’s balance.

And yes, that balance can absolutely include a doughnut.
